Tenuta Maccan Cabernet

Pairs well with: Pizza, of all shapes and sizes.

There’s no such thing as bad pizza – or too much pizza; but it can be difficult to pair with wine. 

The Fun: This wine has aromas of red cherry, red current, raspberry, roasted bell pepper, sage, and bit of tobacco.  The flavours are very similar.  The wine is medium bodied, with medium-high acidity, medium tannins, and lower alcohol (12.5 %) which makes it nicely versatile for food-pairing.

The Facts: 2016 Vintage – “Cabernet” (Likely a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc) – Friuli, Italy
